Ready stock, OEM and ODM solve different sourcing problems. The right route depends on whether the buyer wants an existing product, already has a finished specification, or needs help developing a footwear direction for its market.
Choose ready stock for current products
Ready-stock wholesale is the shortest route when a suitable product already exists in the live catalog. Buyers select current styles, order by full carton and ask sales to confirm availability. Each SKU keeps its fixed size ratio and product-specific carton pack. This route avoids a complete footwear development cycle, but it does not mean every listed quantity is permanently available.
Choose OEM when the product brief already exists
OEM is appropriate when the buyer provides a design, technical requirement, reference sample or clearly defined product specification. 12Shoes reviews the brief with relevant manufacturing partners, confirms feasibility and identifies the required materials, branding, packaging, quantity and approval steps.
For a custom OEM/ODM sample-development project, the sample fee is USD 1,000 and the normal sampling period is approximately 30 days. The corresponding fee can be credited against settlement of the confirmed bulk order for that project.
Choose ODM when development support is required
ODM is used when the buyer has a target market, price position, category or reference direction but does not yet have a finished shoe specification. The 12Shoes product-development team can coordinate product direction, material and colour choices, outsole matching, sampling and production preparation with the appropriate manufacturing partners.
Private label based on an existing product
A buyer that wants to begin from an existing 12Shoes product direction can request a private-label sample. The sample fee is USD 700 and the normal sampling period is approximately 25 days. The corresponding fee can be credited against settlement of the confirmed bulk order for the project.

Commercial confirmation comes before production
Sampling, bulk price, minimum quantity, final specification and production timing are confirmed for each project. A sample approval does not replace the final written bulk-order confirmation. Buyers may arrange inspection before shipment.
